About Us

Deirdre Bastick is a qualified Myotherapist and remedial massage therapist.

She trained with the Victorian College of Healthcare Education in Melbourne, Australia and gained invaluable experience working in clinics in Melbourne.

Having relocated to the west of Ireland she is now treating from Health and Herbs in Galway.

Deirdre completed a comprehensive two and a half year course which included intensive hands on skill training, as well as thorough academic training in anatomy, surface anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, pathology and nutrition.


As a member of the Irish Massage Therapists Association Deirdre can issue receipts to Hibernian Aviva members who can claim up to 30euro on the cost of each massage treatment.
